Tryon's counterattacking innings, along with some brilliant finishing from Suzie Bates took the Sixers to a total that always looked out of reach on a tricky pitch. The Sixers bowlers did fantastically to restrict the Hurricanes as the dew set in and the ball became wet, and despite some strong hitting from Naomi Stalenberg, the Hurricanes have fallen a long way short. This win means that the Sixers have overtaken the Hurricanes and now occupy fifth spot on the table.
